Wiley and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology Sign Agreement to Advance Open Access in Saudi Arabia


HOBOKEN, N.J. – March 21, 2024 Wiley, one of the world’s largest publishers and a global leader in research and learning, today announced a new three-year open access agreement with King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia, beginning on January 1, 2024. 


This represents the first open access agreement between a Saudi Arabian institution and Wiley. It will provide KAUST scholars with reading access to Wiley’s complete journal portfolio and enable KAUST researchers to publish in Wiley’s hybrid open access journal portfolio, which includes over 1,300 journals.
